Lorraine Bridger
Wife
Memory: the day he was told that he was going to be a father for the first time. He cried. Then when he was told that he was going to have another baby when his daughter was three he laughed and spun me round so much I got dizzy. Loved the crazy old fool. x
Debbie Cheese
Worked for him at Highwoods
Memory: OMG, the jokes, the laughs and the stress of highwoods 'golfers';-) the support both in and out of work, a natural leader, showman and cake decorator extraordinaire, a heart of gold and generous nature. A zest for life that was catching and a good impressionist of Billy Connolly, what fun it was. Thanks Mike and Lorraine for allowing us to part of you all xxxx

Memory: I first met mike in 2010 when i first started hospitality and catering. i was absoloutly terrified as i didn't know what i was letting myself in for/ had no experience and just felt like an outsider. Even though mike didn't know me, he sat me down and just reassured me everything was gonna be ok and to just be myself and have fun! Which is what i did and i loved every minute of being at college. whilst studying catering i still had idea what i wanted to for in my future but seeing his skills in cakes and decorating he inspired me to want to own my own cake decorating shop but i know for a fact i/ no one will ever be as good as he was and bot one has ever inspired me like that before. my mum was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago now and mike supported me all the way yet i didn't know he was diagnosed with a cancer to at the time he was still supporting me and putting my problems before his. So id like to thank you mike, thank you for supporting me, inspiring me and most of all for being you, a true gentleman! And if i ever own my own cake shop , i would like to name it and dedicate it to you as a thank you! love to all mike's family and ill see you again soon mike thank :) xxxxxxxxxx

Emily Larkin
Worked with Mike at Sedlescombe
Memory: Mike was an extraordinary person, My mum worked for him at Positano's where he changed the person she was, gave her confidence and made her a stronger happier person, a few years later I started work at Sedlescombe with mike and he done the same for me. Always there with advice and support if and when you needed it... and if not he always had a joke or a story to make you smile. There isn't a lot of people I would say I look up to but mike is most certainly one of them. You will be greatly missed <3 xxxx
Emma, Dan and Aiden
Very good family friend, work colleague and friend
Memory: We used to play golf with Mike and the constant jokes on the way round to keep Emma entertained from the bordem of the actual golf!!
Mike made our very beautiful wedding cake and then re-iced the top layer for Aidan's christening 5 and half years later! Emma worked at Positano for a couple of shifts to help out, and then few years later he recommended her for the job at Sedlescombe Golf Club where they worked together for 9 months! When he met Aidan he told me I couldn't come in the house unless he could have a cuddle with him! Many great memories of Mike and they will always be remembered.
Love you lots Mike xxxx
